Lucknow, Jun 29 The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Monday could not take up for hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) alleging embezzlement in the management of funds at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The matter was listed before a vacation bench comprising Justice Manish Mathur and Justice Zafeer Ahmad.
The pleas, which were listed on previous occasions as well, could not be heard due to the paucity of time.
The PILs have sought an independent probe into the alleged misappropriation of funds received as offerings at the Ram Temple.
The PILs have also requested the court to direct an audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India.
