CJI to inaugurate new court complex in Gurugram on July 12

Gurugram, Jul 2 Judicial operations will soon commence at the new District and Sessions Court complex, 'Tower of Justice', in Gurugram, as Chief Justice of India Justice (CJI) Surya Kant Sharma is set to inaugurate it on July 12, said an official on Thursday.


Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and the acting chief justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra will also participate in the inauguration ceremony.


According to an official statement, District and Sessions Judge Narendra Sura held a meeting with officials from the district administration, police and departments concerned on Thursday regarding preparations for the ceremony.


In the meeting, Judge Narendra Sura said since numerous judges from the Supreme Court, including the CJI, and the Punjab and Haryana High Court, will participate in this event, security and traffic management arrangements must be made accordingly.


"The inauguration ceremony should be conducted with due solemnity and dignity and all preparations for it must be completed a day in advance," he said.
