Delhi bar body appreciates traffic inspector for saving life of injured advocate

New Delhi, Jul 27 The Coordination Committee of All District Court Bar Associations of Delhi on Monday issued an appreciation letter to a traffic inspector and his team for saving the life of an advocate who met with a road accident.


The letter commended Inspector Gopal Bansal of Kamla Market Traffic Circle for his "exemplary act of courage, compassion, presence of mind and unwavering devotion to duty".


It said advocate Navneet met with a serious road accident on Monday afternoon after falling from his motorcycle.


Upon noticing the incident, the inspector, along with his team, acted with remarkable promptness and professionalism, rushing to the spot, administering life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and taking the injured advocate immediately to the nearest hospital for emergency medical treatment, the letter said.


"The timely intervention, swift response and humanitarian approach displayed by Inspector Gopal Bansal and his team proved instrumental in saving a precious human life. Their selfless service exemplifies the finest traditions of the Delhi Police and stands as a shining example of courage, compassion and commitment to public service," it said.


The appreciation letter said such exemplary conduct inspires confidence in the police force and reinforces the values of public service, dedication and protection of human life.


"We extend our deepest gratitude and admiration to Inspector Gopal Bansal and his team," said the letter signed by the committee's secretary general Vijay Bishnoi.
