Kolkata, Jul 28 The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday granted interim protection from arrest to former Kolkata deputy mayor Atin Ghosh in an alleged property grabbing case.
Ghosh had moved the high court seeking anticipatory bail in the case, where the complainant alleged he had grabbed a prime property in Kolkata from her at a nominal price.
Justice Tirthankar Ghosh directed that Ghosh should not be arrested till August 14 in connection with the case.
The court directed that the matter will appear for hearing again on August 10.
