Thane, Aug 21 A court in Maharashtra's Thane district has sentenced two brothers to two months' simple imprisonment for assaulting a traffic police constable during a vehicle seizure drive in 2019.
Additional Sessions Judge D B Mane convicted the accused, Afnan Afak Qureshi (25), and his brother, Tamshil (29), under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 each on the duo.
