Gurugram, Jul 4 Gurugram's new district and sessions court complex -- the 'Tower of Justice' -- will be inaugurated July 12 by the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant, an official said on Saturday.
To review preparations for the inauguration ceremony, Justice Harsimran Singh of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, along with Justice Rohit Kapoor -- chairperson of the high court's Building Committee and inspecting judge for the Gurugram Division -- and committee member Justice Aradhana Sawhney, conducted an inspection of the 'Tower of Justice' on Saturday, according to an official statement.
During the inspection, the judges directed officials to complete all remaining work within the stipulated timeframe.
They noted that the ceremony would be graced by the distinguished presence of many guests from Supreme Court of India, Punjab and Haryana High Court, district judiciary, and various other sectors. In this context, arrangements regarding security, traffic management, parking, seating, cleanliness and all other aspects must be fully organised and compliant with protocols, the statement said.
The judges said convenience of visitors should be accorded top priority during the event, and directed every arrangement within the premises be well-organised, managed and secure.
The departments concerned should work in coordination to complete all preparations on time, ensuring that the inauguration ceremony is dignified and memorable, they added.
